Whisker City Boarding is a full service overnight and day play facility for dogs and cats. Because we offer interactive group play along with individualized care, we have a few requirements before your pet stays.
Before you book your pet's stay
Pre- Stay & Play Requirements for Canines
Everything you need before you book your dog's first visit
Exams and Vaccines
All dogs must have a physical exam within a year of boarding with a licensed veterinarian. All dogs must be current of vaccines of communicable diseases: Rabies, Distemper Virus, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza, Adenovirus/Hepatitis, Leptospirosis (DHLPP), Bordetella and Canine Influenza Virus (CIV). Proof of requirement satisfied by current veterinary records.
Parasite Prevention
All dogs must be current on flea and heartworm prevention. Tick prevention is preferable, but not required. Proof of requirement will be satisfied with current veterinary records.
Spay/Neuter Requirements
Dogs must be spayed or neutered if over 6 months of age.
Meet and Greet Evaluation
Dogs must complete AND PASS 3-4 hour meet and greet evaluation. This gives our team and your pet a chance to get to know each other a bit before any longer stays. It's also where the team will be able to see how they interact in group play after controlled introductions with other guests . There is a fee for this assessment.
Owner Tour of the Facility
Dog owner must complete a tour of the facility and sign approval of conditions form. Can be scheduled concurrently with meet and greet evaluation.
Before Stay Questionnaire
Owner must fill out a pre-boarding questionnaire. This questionnaire includes important information to help us maintain the health of your pet as well as making the stay as close to home as possible.

Exams and Vaccines

All cats must be current of vaccines of communicable diseases: Rabies, Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia (FVRCP). Feline Leukemia Virus (FelV) is preferable, but not required. Proof of requirement satisfied by current veterinary records.
