A Day in the Life in Whisker City
6:00am Rise and Shine
Lights on, yawn and stretch for everyone that stayed with us overnight. Dogs are let out into the yard for first morning potty. Overnight litterboxes are switched out for clean. Housekeeping takes care of obvious messes.
6:30am-8:00am Breakfast is Served
Everyone that stayed overnight goes back to their private kennel and room
service delivers breakfast. Any medications needed are distributed. Overnight guests spend a little time digesting while their Day Stay & Play friends arrive.
7:00am- 10:00am Guest Rotation
Overnight Stay & Play guest are checking out while Day Stay & Play guests are checking in. This time can be a little chaotic, but it's how the fun starts!
8:00am- 12:00pm Morning Activities
This is the time for really energetic play! The pups are separated into their qualifying groups and given the opportunity to play in 60-90 minute blocks. The kitties each get some time in the Curious Cat Toy Shoppe to explore. Everyone gets a chance to stretch their legs and minds.
11:00am- 12:00pm Morning Once-Over
Time is set aside in the staff schedule to check in with each pet. This can be a few extra pets, or a special treat. We make sure to give everyone a Once-Over.
12:00pm-12:30pm Lunchtime
We use this time to start winding down for rest. Lunch is served to those pets that need it. Medications are distributed. Litterboxes are changed.
12:00pm- 2:00pm Rest Time
Rest and nap time in personal spaces. We turn the lights down, put on some music and let the brains and bodies of the guests take a break. For our guests that like less intense play time, smaller groups are formed. Guests receive their choices of al la Carte options. One-on-one time, baths for guests scheduled.
2:00pm- 4:00pm Afternoon Activities
The guests are back at it after a good rest. Pups are back in their play groups, kitties are exploring.
3:00pm- 6:00pm Guest Rotation
Our Overnight Stay & Play guests are checking in while the Day Stay & Play guests head home for the night. The excitement from the day starts to wind down.
4:00pm- 6:00pm Rest and Digest
Our Overnight Stay & Play guests relax while their Day Stay & Play friends go home. Dinner is served. Medications are distributed.
6:00pm- 8:00pm Evening Activities
Special play time for anyone staying overnight. We utilize the indoor play spaces and take the dogs on their evening potty walk. Kitty litterboxes are changed.
8:30pm Turndown Service
Turndown service brings a special treat to each guest. Everyone gets tucked in to their private or family room. Lights out until tomorrow.
